What are the key trends in you sunglass collection for 2017?
We’re continuing to push our innovative H20 Floatable Technology across the range with a full variety of styles to choose from. New for 2017 is our H20 Floatable Technology available in injected colour ways vs being limited to black frames.
What lens technologies are you working with and can we expect anything new here?
Our Polarized lenses come standard in our H20 Floatable Collection, featuring injected Nylon lenses hard coated with hydrophobic, oleophobic and scratch resistant protective layers.
What colour pallets and patterns are you using for your frames?
For spring 2017 we focused in on subtle details like marbleised effects and walnut torts. We also collaborated with Clark Little on a signature Vantage with his photography featured on the inside temple along with the protective bag.
If you do prescription glasses: what are the main trends here?
Dragon is owned by VSP/Marchon, one of the largest eyewear insurance and frame manufacturers in the world. With this comes a deep understanding of the category from both a frame design and lens prescription perspective. We’re currently seeing strong growth in our Destiny Collection that utilizes a mixture of subtle logo applications in both injected and acetate material. What’s unique about our collection is the discoverable design details in our temple surfacing and embellishments, wrapped by a cohesive colour story.
