18th Longboard Classic Takes Place This Weekend

Often dubbed as the ‘Woodstock of snowboarding’, the Longboard Classic is a fun event, that was founded in 1999, and brings snow enthusiasts together for a day of riding, test boards, live music and partying.

Eight years after the first event idea was developed by Jacky in the restaurant Mittelstation in Stuben, more than 400 friends from all parts of the world now meet in the “Stubner Snowboardhimmel” and pay tribute to the roots of snowboarding (or snowsurfing, skiboarding).

“Thank you for keeping the spirit of snowboarding alive. See you on Saturday, 1st April 2017 (and that’s no joke) , at the Woodstock of snowboarding, in the winter of love”, says Paul Gruber, Snowboard Enthusiast since 1980.
