One of the speakers that will be attending the 2017 EUROSIMA surf summit is Edouard Frignet, Marketing Manager France, Sales Manager France and Outdoor Manager Europe at W. L. GORE. Frignet’s talk will be on the theme of ‘35 years of leadership in a free organised company’ and will take place on Thursday, October 5th at 2:30 p.m., at the Belambra Club.

However, at W. L. GORE, there are no titles, only commitments. Edouard joined W. L. GORE France when the office was opened in 1979 and led the launching of GORE-TEX® fabrics in France. The enormous challenge was to create demand for a product in a market that had never heard of it before. The GORE-TEX® Ingredient Brand was a precursor to B to C marketing in the 1980s in France. Once demand had been created among and by consumers, the brand formed a strong bond with its partner clients, and the B to B relationship was born.
