X Games Head To Sydney For 2018
The X Games will be held on Australian soil for the first time ever in 2018 as the Sydney Olympic Park plays host to the infamous Skateboard, BMX and Moto X competitions on October 19-21, 2018.
ESPN have reached a deal with Australia’s Seven West Media to cover the event in Sydney next year. The infamous action sports competition will be given a uniquely Australian twist with the course designs, medals and footage all created to showcase Sydney as a world-class location. A music and arts festival will also accompany the action sports contest.
Seven’s chief revenue officer Kurt Burnette says: “We are proud to be bringing the X Games to Australia. We have a terrific relationship with ESPN and we look forward to delivering an outstanding event,”
