Globe’s Annual Snake Session Recap

The first annual Globe Snake Session was hosted in early November at the brand’s impressive skate ramp in California. The event was invite only and saw riders go against each other in a shop against shop type showdown. Ronnie Sandoval from the Transitions Skate Shop came out victorious taking home the trophy and $1000 cash prize. 

Press Release: On Friday November 3rd Globe hosted the first annual Snake Session shop vs. shop battle on the Globe HQ ramp in El Segundo, CA. The contest was invite only and brought some of the best shop teams together for a night of fun and mayhem. Thrasher was on hand to cover the event,  King Harbor Brewing kicked in the beer for those 21+. Later Days Coffee Co and Boxed Water shared their goods as well.

The contest was Judged by Globe team riders Mark Appleyard, David Gonzalez, Paul Hart and Sammy Montano. Skaters battled thru the bracket leading up to a 6 man final. Active, Boarders. Identity, ET, Spyder and Transitions were all on hand competing for the coveted Snake Session handmade trophy and $1000 cash. Ronnie Sandoval and the Transitions crew took home the goods in the winner take all format. MVPs from each heat were also rewarded with $100 cash. Transitions will retum next year to defend the trophy and the title.
