Corona Named Title Sponsor For The WSL Bali Pro
The WSL Bali Pro makes its debut on the new-look Championship Tour this year and the event will be sponsored by beer brand Corona. Created in Mexico with a strong connection to the beach, Corona was already affiliated with the WSL when it became the Official Beer of the World Surf League globally in 2015 (excluding North America), and once again when it became the sponsor for J-Bay, South Africa.

Press Release: KERAMAS, Bali/Indonesia (Monday, March 26, 2018) –The World Surf League (WSL) and Corona announced today that the beer brand born at the beach will be the title partner for its second WSL event in 2018, now named the Corona Bali Pro in Keramas, Bali, Indonesia, May 27 – June 9, 2018.
“There is incredible synergy between WSL and Corona on many levels,” said Sophie Goldschmidt, chief executive officer, WSL. “Our partnership continues to grow as we share like-minded goals toward providing surf fans with great experiences to enjoy amazing surfing in beautiful destinations.”
Corona’s partnership with the WSL began in 2015, when the brand became the Official Beer of the World Surf League globally (excluding North America), and subsequently deepened its commitment through a title sponsorship of the Corona Open J-Bay in Jeffreys Bay, South Africa.
