SNOWBOARD TRACKER SIGNS UP MORE BRANDS

SNOWBOARD TRACKER SIGNS UP MORE BRANDS -

Snowboard Tracker alias Surfboard tracker.com recently signed up well respected snowboard manufactures Windlip snowboards France and Pumpkin snowboards Switzerland.

Lisa at Windlip said "Windlip make beautiful, hundred percent custom snowboards. As you can imagine they aren’t exactly a throw away item. SBT is great for us. We imbed the chip into the core so it’s impossible to remove and no matter how the board is disguised, then information is locked within. People who ride Windlip boards are a pretty exclusive club so its nice for us to be able to offer the protection that SBT provides".

Snowboard Tracker will be receiving its own portal soon designated for the winter board sports but the SBT website can still be used.

The company has strong ambitions to work with all the affiliates in the industry just like it has successfully done in the surfing industry with the International Surfing Association and the PSTA.

One guy who is respectful of the company is Jeff Grell, the designer of the first cross over binding, of which all are based today.

Andrew said "Jeff has endorsed our product and values the benefits it brings",

Not only does SBT help as a theft deterrent but once you are registered you can get direct access to the makers of your boards, receive up to date snowboarding news, enter competitions, keep a diary about particular boards, report board lost or stolen so checks can be made even if they turn up on Ebay. Finally boards can become part of a community of riders no matter where ever you are in the world.

SBT is for those who want to say no to board thieves and at the same time would like to build their very own profile about themselves and the gear they use.

"It is pretty difficult to remove an SBT implant once fitted" said the technical officer at SBT. "It acts as a authentication process too, with so many fakes floating around. SBT is 100 % real".

The SBT is going to be released late January 08, with distribution arrangements being put in place, one company that was quick on the up take was Cloud 9 based in Switzerland who found out about the system from a surf board manufacturer in France. Cloud 9 support just about every snowboard hardware retailer in the Swiss Alps.

Soon SBT will available to everyone, not just guys or gals who recently picked a brand new board with the system fitted. The SBT will be supplied for 20 or so euros with a fitting kit that enables you to have it fitted at the retailers or at home. One thing is for sure make sure you Activate it online straight away.

For more information or trade enquiries do not hesitate to contact SBT distribution and retailers via www.surfboard-tracker.com / www.snowboard-tracker.com
