Dragon Eyewear, an internationally recognized, performance eyewear brand with deep ties to the action sports world, has introduced its latest global campaign featuring the brand’s best-selling sunglasses – available with innovative technology and a unique material composition to make them floatable.
The new campaign, entitled “H2O Floatable” rolls out this month in print and digital as well as on Dragon’s ecommerce site and across their social media platforms, accompanied by the hashtag #TheyFloat. The imagery features men and women paddle boarding, kayaking, fishing and jet skiing. By incorporating more watersports, the campaign demonstrates the versatility of the new styles, while speaking to a broader audience. The video highlights the brand’s signature sunglass styles and their ability to float in the water.
Each of the four proven best-selling styles are crafted with lightweight, injection-molded thermoplastic, which is less dense than water, allowing them to float. These frames are finished with water-resistant hardware and feature Performance Polar lens technology, a lightweight and durable form of injected polarized lenses. These sunglasses are designed with hydrophobic and oleophobic lens coatings, providing resistance to water, moisture, dirt, oils and the elements, while maintaining a crystal-clear view, and making them the perfect sunglasses for water sports and the beach.
The Baile H2O sunglasses were designed in collaboration with the legendary, three-time world champion surfer, Mick Fanning, who was an integral part of the design process. This comfortable, lightweight style features a four-base curved lens for a comfortable and contemporary, unisex look.
