COLEMAN NAMES SOLOMON AS PERMANENT CEO

Jarden Corporation has named Sam A. Solomon as President and Chief Executive Officer of The Coleman Company, Inc. Solomon has been serving as interim President and CEO since September 2007, when the company said it launched a search for a permanent CEO

Solomon is a seasoned executive with more than 23 years’ experience in finance, brand management and general business administration at global multi-national companies such as The Coca-Cola Company; Kidde, PLC; SPX Corporation; The Proctor and Gamble Company; and most recently, at Coleman.
