Norwegian snowboarder, Mons Røisland, took first place at DC’s second annual Hit & Run contest in AREA43 in Meribel. The competition follows a unique format with riders racing from top to bottom through the park, aiming to get the quickest time whilst performing mandatory tricks on specific park features on the course.
“The idea behind Hit & Run is to challenge a snowboarder’s overall ability,” said DC snowboarding’s Global Marketing Director and Hit & Run concept founder, Bobby Meeks. “The course combines turns of a banked slalom with the features of slopestyle– You need haul ass and also crush it on rails and jumps,” he continued.
The top three places are as followed:
- 1st Mons Røisland
- 2nd Sebbe de Buck
- 3rd Jordan Morse
