Following the WSF General Assembly in Belgrade, Serbia this year the board of directors have expressed their gratitude for those in attendance and announced that they will be carrying out all requests and needs discussed at the Belgrade Assembly throughout the year.

Dear delegates of the NSAs, Riders and Event Organizers,

The WSF board of directors would like to thank you all for attending the WSF General Assembly in Belgrade, Serbia.

The 2019 GA was a good opportunity for all members to share their inputs, expectations and needs during the four days of meetings. The Ski Association of Serbia warmly welcomed all delegates and the WSF Board of Directors, providing a unique and characteristic experience.

On Saturday, the GA was opened up by the three Keynote Speakers: Norbert Rubicsek (CSCF), Tiina Lindström (FSA) and Wolfgang Burghardt (CSIT). To conclude the first day, an important MoU was signed between WSF and CSIT.

Working groups on different topics were the central point of the Belgrade General Assembly. Those allowed to both present the WSF activities that took place during the 2018/19 winter season as well as to define what are the most important needs for WSF members. Key areas and priorities have been agreed and defined in Belgrade, the Board of Directors will carry out the requests and needs of all the members during the year.

On Monday, the WSF General Assembly had the honor to have Donna Carpenter (co-CEO of Burton Snowboards) as keynote speaker. During the afternoon the financial report of both the WSF and the World Snowboarding Marketing & Services GmbH were presented.
