How was the sunglasses market overall in 2025?
We were able to improve again in the area of our wooden lifestyle sunglasses and keep up with the times with new models. The glasses made from recycled fishing nets were not as well received as we had hoped.
Which segment of your 2026 offering do you expect to sell best and why?
We will see a healthy mix of different types of wood and material combinations again. Bestsellers are and will be the wood-polycarbonate-combinations.
What new frame shapes and colours are in your 2026 offer?
The following shapes are new to the range: cat-eye, panto and sporty. Frame colors are becoming a bit more colourful and also Havana style will be up to date.
Which lens technologies from your 2026 offer are most in demand?
We still use our proven polycarbonate lenses, which are simply very robust, relatively insensitive and unbreakable.
Any noteworthy sustainable practices in your production and shipping processes this year?
Our woods are carefully selected in accordance with environmentally friendly forestry practices and comply with FSC standards. All our packages are shipped in an environmentally friendly way – both in terms of the outer packaging and the shipping method used by the parcel services.
What are your marketing stories?
That is still pretty simple: Love nature and the ocean. Love yourself. Treat yourself for something nice.
How are you supporting retailers to sell this category?
