Looking Sideways Vol 1 Delves Into Californian Boardsports Culture

On a three week trip from Ventura to San Diego, Looking Sideways‘ Matt Barr and photographer & all-round creative Owen Tozer delved into Californian board riding culture. Over the course of their trip, the pair interviewed action sports icons from past and present to learn how these sports influenced California and vice versa, and how this West Coast culture spread worldwide. The interviews, photos and stories from this trip have been printed and bound into Looking Sideways Vol 1.
