Rip Curl Opens a New Women’s Store in Saint-Jean-de-Luz France
Rip Curl has opened a new Women's store in the heart of the Basque Country, in the iconic town of Saint-Jean-de-Luz at 71 rue Léon Gambetta. This new 55 m² space, opened in June, is located in the town center, just steps from the beaches and typical streets. Entirely dedicated to women's clothing, it offers a complete selection of clothing and accessories, currently featuring the Spring/Summer 2025 collection. This store becomes the fourth Women's flagship in Europe, after Hossegor, Biarritz, and Peniche. Nestled between the ocean and the mountains, Saint-Jean-de-Luz is a mecca for Basque surfing, driven by its legendary beaches such as Lafitenia and Erromardie. Its authentic atmosphere, blending maritime traditions and surfing culture, makes it a must-see destination for enthusiasts. "The Saint-Jean-de-Luz store allows the brand to re-establish itself in a major city on the Basque coast with a format entirely dedicated to women. This new flagship is part of our retail development strategy in Europe, in line with our desire to offer the best of Rip Curl, with rigor and ambition," emphasizes Philippe Cazeaux, Head of Retail Operations in Europe.
