New for FW23, The Pill, specialists in Outdoor and Snowboard buyer’s guides, are opening up their seasonal product testing and inviting brands, retailers and distributors the to join them in what’s to be a brand-new event on the B2B test calendar: Base Camp. The event will be for both ski and snowboard brands and they have space for 250 people to attend. Brands will not be charged to exhibit and brands are limited to 2 employees.
Networking, product testing, presentations, FW23 previews and news, workshops…There’s plenty on offer at the 1st Edition of the Pill Base Camp. The event itself has come about as a way of The Pill Guide giving back to the readers that’ve supported them over the past 12 years. The team decided to share their product testing session with retailers, brands, distributors and other industry professionals, to give them an insight into 2023’s product ranges, as well as providing an opportunity to reinforce existing relationships and form new ones.
Where and When?
Nestled in Aosta Valley, Italy, at the base of the Pila resort, right by the lifts.
Sunday, February 6 and Monday, February 7. If these dates are unavailable (cancelled due to Covid restrictions), then the event will be rescheduled for February 27 and 28.
Since the Base Camp is The Pill Guide’s way of giving back and saying thank you for year-on-year support, brands can attend for free (although registration is required). There’s no charge for the first 50 buyers, however past 50, buyers will have to complete the online attendance form.
What do brands need to do?
Just a confirmation of your presence in needed (even if not 100% sure). Upon registration, The Pill will send weekly updates of the retailers that are confirmed to attend, from here, brands can then decide whether they wish to take part or not.
