Surf Expo 7-9 January 2026 50th edition review

This years show marked its 50th edition and did not disappoint. Footfall was significantly greater than last year with the aisles noticeably busier as brands and buyers felt the positivity flowing over  from the previous quarter’s strong sales. Exhibiting brand numbers were up 15%. “Surf Expo January reflected a market that is confident and ready to do business,” said Roy Turner, Show Director. “Buyers weren’t just browsing, they came with plans shaped by strong holiday performance and a clear vision for the year ahead.”
The expanded Shoreline Outdoor segment was equally as busy  “The Shoreline Outdoor segment performed strongly, with buyers actively looking to expand and refine their assortments,” added Turner. “It’s a clear indicator that outdoor remains a resilient and evolving category at Surf Expo.”
Brands should put September 16-18,  the next Surf Expos dates, in their calendar.
