Surf Expo Welcomes Over 175 New Brands To 2023 Show

Surf Expo Attracts 175+ New Brands & Diverse Group of Retailers to its September Show

Surf Expo, the premier watersports and coastal lifestyle tradeshow, is set to welcome 5000+ registered retail buyers, 700 exhibitors and 175 new first-time exhibitors to its upcoming show at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando on Sept. 7-9.

“Surf Expo thrives on creating a marketplace that is valuable both to our retailer and exhibitor communities,” said Roy Turner, senior vice president and show director of Surf Expo. “We are excited about our stellar line up of brands for our summer show, and more buyers are continuing to register each day.”

Surf Expo currently has more than 5,000 buyers from more than 3,000 stores registered to attend the September show. Some of the notable board sport retailers who are attending include: Tilly’s, which operates 250 stores across 33 states; Active Water Sports, owns and operates an online proshop and four boat dealerships located in the Pacific Northwest; K-Coast is the largest surf shop in Ocean City, MD; Kokomo is one of the largest board sport retailers in Puerto Rico with 11 locations; Rooster Bus, a modern men’s shop in Scottsdale, Arizona; The Boathouse is Canada’s destination for men’s and women’s clothing, footwear and accessories with more than 80 stores nationwide; 17th Street Surf Shop specializing in surf hardgoods and apparel with six locations in Virginia and North Carolina.

Surf Expo is also popular with cruise lines, amusement parks, hotels and resorts, department stores, specialty chains, off-price retailers as well as authorized concessioners for retail operations in airports and national parks. Buyers in those sectors that are attending include: Walt Disney Theme Parks & Resorts, Universal Resorts & Parks & Studio, Macy’s, TJX Companies, Ritz Carlton Resorts, Heinemann Americas, Sandals Resorts International, Guest Services Inc., Paradies Lagadere, Travel Traders, Ross Stores, and Burlington Stores.

The September show is set to welcome 175+ first time exhibiting brands.
