Sport Achat 2022

Sport Achat Winter Returns to EuroExpo, Lyon from March 7-9

Sport Achat, the first major winter sports tradeshow of 2022 on mainland Europe, starts this Monday (March 7). It’s been 2 years since the last Sport Achat tradeshow took place, so excitement is high; the show presents a great opportunity to check out what’s new for winter 2023, as well as a chance to catch up with friends and colleagues.

As usual, the show will be held at Hall 2 of Eurexpo Lyon – a hall that boasts over 20,000 m2 of exhibition space. More than 500 brands and over 2,500 visitors have already registered, and organisers are expecting a further 3,000+ business visitors to attend over the 3 days.

Show organisers – Sportair Like That – have been able to go ahead with the event as the new Covid-19 regulations in France don’t apply to exhibtions. Mathieu Kurtz of Sportair says: “Retailers come to the show to meet clothing, ski, snowboard and outdoor suppliers. These face-to-face meetings are the strength of the show.”

Having been a part of the B2B events calendar since 2003, it’s an essential show for discovering brands’ winter 2022/23 collections. This year’s event will be driven by a so-far-positive winter season in resorts and a return to normal for retailers. Once again, Sport Achat will therefore return as a benchmark industry meeting point in 2022.

Over 70 boardsports brands are exhibiting at the show including Bataleon, Deeluxe, Jones, Head, Nitro, Rossignol, Salomon, Yes, Picture, Ortovox, Bolle, Oakley, Poc and Bolle.

We must give a special mention to the ‘Crème Fraîche’: an area dedicated to start-ups. This space features companies that are less than 5 years old and is an opportunity for new players to present their products and get themselves known. Brands in this year’s Crème Fraîche include Marchill socks, Saola, Fab’one, Kaptrek, Gorilla, Inseec Sport, Cardo Systems, Black Line, Ancor Bijoux, Hot Savoie 74, Nosc Sport by Nature and Cingomma.

The conference program is as follows:
