Brand: Liquid Force

How was the 2024 market for impact vests?
2024 was a strong year for us in both CGA and comp vests. Globally we saw steady demand, with growth fuelled by competitive pricing and a continued focus on comfort and mobility.
Which market segments are you noticing the most growth in and why?
In comp vest we are seeing the most growth in vests with more mobility. Riders are looking for lightweight, flexible vests that provide protection while allowing unrestricted movement.
What are the main trends in the market for impact vests in 2025, and how are you addressing them?
Comfort and mobility continue to be a trend in comp vests where consumers are looking for a competitively priced vest with less restriction. For 25 we added 2 new comp vests to where we saw opportunity to improve here, there Arc and Core.
Tell us about your new vest styles & designs.
For 2025 we have 2 new comp vests, the Arc and the Core. The Arc vest is our most flexible, lightweight option, built for maximum mobility with an ultra-thin foam design that moves seamlessly with the rider. It’s the choice for those who prioritize unrestricted movement and a barely-there feel while still offering a ton of protection. The Core vest is all about balanced performance, offering a slightly more structured fit with strategic foam panelling for impact protection while maintaining freedom with bigger arm holes and plenty of stretch. The Core comes in both mens and womens versions with 5 solid colours to choose from. It’s designed for riders who want a blend of comfort, protection, and a secure fit that stays in place at a keen price.
What (new) technology or materials are you using in your crash jackets to give you a unique selling point?
The Arc features a multi-flex panel design with panel-slit PE foam for maximum mobility. Built glue-free with sustainable foam, it offers a sleek, low-profile fit with minimal stitching. Key details include a tapered waist, wide shoulder gussets, and easy grab LF zipper pull tab for easy adjustments. Both the Arc and the Core also feature our new ‘Thumb Garage’ which is a small pocket for your thumb to slip into and makes the vest easier to zip up/down with cold wet hands.
How are you helping shops and parks sell your product?
Our dealer network is a top priority as we navigate the D2C market, ensuring that everyone is supported, selling great products, and staying happy. We’re about to launch a new “Shop Local” campaign to highlight the importance of our dealers and brick-and-mortar stores. For 2025, we’re introducing a Dealer Exclusive range, giving our network access to 8 key models that won’t be available on LF.com. Instead, we’ll redirect customers to our partners’ pages and physical stores to ensure our dealers make the sale. While this isn’t currently applicable to vests, it’s something we’re looking to roll out in the future.
