What sport drives the most demand (kite, wind, wing, surf…) and why?
Right now, wing foiling is still leading the way for SIC. The sport continues to grow as more people discover it, and it’s becoming more accessible. With the rise of beginner-friendly shapes, entry-level gear, and better educational content, new riders feel less intimidated about trying it or taking lessons.
Which of your 2025 foil setups have sold best and why?
Our Slash Complete kits are our best-selling setup because it is completely customizable. It features our unique Flip Fuselage, which gives you two setup options in one: install the PUMP ARROW forward for more lift, stability, and pumping power, or flip it around with the STEERING WHEEL forward for tighter turns and a more responsive ride. Additionally, the Slash Stab’s unique oblong screw holes allow riders to trim for speed of lift without shims. We’ve also expanded the SLASH line with new high-performance components. The Slash Front Wing 600 is built for racing, while the Slash HAR Front Wings 900 and 1100 are optimized for SUP downwind. And for those requiring maximum stiffness and control, our new High Modulus Masts in 800 and 900 lengths deliver the most responsive ride yet.
What are the main trends in foil construction, materials, and design?
Hydrofoil trends are all about making setups lighter, stiffer, and more customizable. We’re seeing a big move toward high-modulus carbon constructions, especially in masts and front wings, toimprove stiffness and responsiveness without adding weight. Modular foil systems are now standard, letting riders easily swap out wings, stabilizers, or fuselages to match their style or conditions. High-aspect front wings are popular for glide and speed, while design features like SIC’s unique flip fuselages and adjustable stabilizers give riders more control without shims. There’s also a growing focus on durability, with titanium hardware and corrosion-resistant finishes.
What are the highlights of your 2026 foil offer?
For 2026, the star of our foil lineup are the interchangeable and adjustable SIC foiling kits, built for progression and versatility. The FLITE Complete kits are our go-to foil for beginners and lighter riders, offering easy lift and control at lower speeds and in light wind. It’s also a great option for heavier intermediate riders looking to build confidence. The FLITE delivers smooth, stable performance and excellent low-speed lift with its low-aspect front wing. And when you’re ready to level up, the FLITE is fully compatible with our SLASH series, so upgrading your front wing or stabilizer is simple. The SLASH Complete kit is about speed, glide, and aggressive carving for riders ready to push their limits. We’ve also expanded the SLASH line with new high-performance components for 2026. The Slash Front Wing 600 is built for racing, while the Slash HAR Front Wings 1100 and 900 are optimized for SUP downwinding. And for those chasing maximum stiffness and control, our new High Modulus Masts in 800 and 900 lengths deliver the most responsive ride yet.
What are the main trends in foilboard construction, materials, and design?
Foilboard design is heading in a clear direction: lighter, stiffer, and more tuned for specific riding styles. We’re seeing boards get longer and narrower, which helps with glide and early lift, especially useful for SUP, downwinding, and wing foiling. Tail shapes are refined for better control during turns, and concave decks add more grip and board feel underfoot. On the construction side, carbon and hybrid layups are now the standard, offering a great balance of strength and low weight, with reinforced foil tracks to handle the stress. Our Ka’a and Kunalu series are a great example of where the industry is going.
What are the highlights of your 2026 foilboard offer?
For 2026, the KA’A mid-length foilboard series are the standout of our lineup. They’re versatile and ideal for intermediate riders across all kinds of foiling—whether you’re into SUP foiling, light-wind cruising, downwind runs, wing foiling, or even prone surf foiling. The shape is longer and narrower, which helps reduce drag and gives you faster lift-off in light wind, so you can focus on dialing in your flight or chasing speed. The pulled-in tail adds control for smooth carving and fewer touchdowns—great for both racing and learning maneuvers like jibes. Plus, with longer foil tracks, you get better pitch control and the nimble feel of a shorter board without losing stability.
