What are the current industry trends in women’s swimwear?
The women’s swimwear market is dynamic. Of course we still want to offer a full range of swimwear with eco friendly recycled fabrics. We also notice a diversity in sinzing offering, including different bust and hip measurements. Designs are focusing on making women feel confident and comfortable in their own skin.
What style/shape of swimwear is most popular in your current range?
Most popular shapes are classic coverage bottom with adjustable knots on side. Same for the top with adjustable triangle tops. This season we extend this range with two different coverage options.
Which 2025 styles do you expect to grow the most?
We think tanga and less coverage styles are growing, especially with countries such as Spain and Portugal where this kinf of shapes or more popular than in France.
What colour palettes and prints will we find in your 2026 range? Any crossovers from other brand product categories?
We have two different marketing stories in the swimwear category. First one is with earthy colours, warm colours, such as brown, earthy red. The other own is a way brighter with strong all over prints. For instance, we do have a classic flower swimwear print but with a really cool graduant effect which makes the print attractive for a younger audience.
What silhouettes are you featuring in your 2026 collection? Any construction techniques you’d like to highlight?
As for the women wetsuits category is getting a more trendy and colourfull interest, we introduce a new onesie style with a full long sleeve sun protection but with a trendy shape. The idea is to be able to offer something useful for practising but also trendy and attractive through its shape and colours.
What materials are you using in your 2026 collection?
The full range uses ecofriendfly fabrics, mainly recycled polyester or recycled polyamide.
What efforts are you making towards sustainability?
Not only all of our range is made with sustainable fabrics but also 25% of the collection is made with an Italian fabric and produce in Tunisia. Being a B corp company, we are more than involved in increasing the part of sustainable product. Oxbow vision is also to produce more locally when possible.
What are your marketing stories for your 2026 collection?
First story is called LOST PLACES, inspired by trips and the mistery of abandoned places, this collection blends 60-70s nostalgia with modern surf culture, layering, collages, and revised tapestries, creating a rich mix of textures and prints echoing the faded charm of vintage hotel interiors. Second story is called FUTURE MEMORIES where 90s meets 2000s, this collection draws from the best era of surfing, infused with the raw energy of old magazines and VHS aesthetics. Bold colors and retro graphics collide, shaping pieces that blend nostalgia with a fresh modern edge.
How will you support retailers to sell this category?
Thinking in delivering our swimwear in a small pocket in recycled fabric which can be reused for women stuff to bring in eveybags!
