Were the level orders for SS25 boardshorts good?
The level orders for SS25 boardshorts were very encouraging. The collection featured a variety of styles and vibrant designs that attracted a lot of consumer interest. The focus on quality and comfort, contributed to a positive outlook. Additionally, the wide range of our well known NOOS swim shorts played a significant role in this success. Their different lengths and a wide range of colors, which further boosted consumer interest.

Do you carry over staple pieces over the years?
Yes, we do carry over staple pieces over the years. Our NOOS collection includes timeless favorites such as the DAVEY (16-inch), the FASTER (16-inch), the PRTBAKY (19-inch), and the PRTYESSINE (14-inch). These pieces remain popular and consistently available, ensuring that you can always find your go-to styles.

Prices vary from €30 to €150+: where do you position your brand on that spectrum?
Our boardshorts are priced between €40 and €70, right in the middle of the range. We aim to offer great quality and style without going over the top on price. We use good materials—often recycled or organic—and make sure the fit and feel are spot on. It’s all about giving people something that looks great, lasts, and feels worth it, without being too expensive.

What are the main design trends of SS26 for (surfing) boardshorts? (cuts, lengths, special features, closing systems…)
A big trend this season are the surfables—shorts you can surf in, but also wear casually. We have four surfables in our collection: PRTJEREMY, PRTRADCOT, PRTFILBY, and PRTADONIA. They’re made with quick-dry, stretch fabrics and have a clean, modern look—perfect for both in and out of the water. Other key trends: mid-length cuts, comfortable stretch, and secure waistbands that work well during active use but also feel relaxed.

Same question for walkshorts/beachshorts.
For walkshorts and beachshorts, the focus is on comfort and smart design. A standout is the PRTIGAPO—a swimshort with a fixed inner brief. This gives extra comfort and support, and it’s great for both swimming and everyday wear. In general, we see elastic waists, easy fits, and lightweight materials trending strong this season.

What are you colour & print stories for SS26?
For our SS26 collection, we’re diving into the magic of summer with Midsommar Myth. Imagine coastal vibes mixed with old-school folklore—it’s all about celebrating summer at its best. More about our color groups:

Sea and Sky: Look out for Dark Teal, Tourmaline Blue, Golden Yellow, Plum Mauve, and Bali Blue. These colors capture the beauty of the ocean and the sky.
Greens and Blues: Thyme Green, Fern Green, Clorofix Lime, and Cali Blue will remind you of lush landscapes and clear summer skies.
Warm and Cozy: Think Night Sky Navy, Burnt Peach, Hazelnut Brown, Amber Brown, and Bamboo Beige. These shades suggest beach bonfires and warm sunsets.

Prints and patterns this season:
Prints inspired by local myths and traditional stories add a touch of mystery. Soft textures and patterns that mimic waves, sand, and leaves will be everywhere. Our pieces are perfect for both surfing and chilling by the fire at night.

Which fabrics did you implement for the SS26 collections?
A large part of the swimwear collection, like previous years, is made of recycled materials, these shorts have a water-repellent finish, perfect for beach or water sports. One of the new fabrics this season is featured on the PRTAGDEN beachshort. Made from lightweight seersucker, it comes with a full elastic waistband and a comfortable 16″ length—ideal for relaxed summer days.
