How was the 2024 market for impact vests?
Despite many vests still hanging on the racks at the start of the season, sell-through exceeded our expectations. This unexpected success gave us the opportunity to dive right back into R&D and continue pushing the boundaries of what’s possible in wake and waterski vests. It’s a reminder that innovation never stops—there’s always room to improve, and we’re committed to constantly refining our products to stay ahead of the curve.

Which market segments are you noticing the most growth in and why?
The youth and family market is experiencing the most rapid growth in the European cable world right now. Families are increasingly seeking impact vests that strike the perfect balance between protection, style, and comfort – something that enhances the fun without compromising safety. Our latest line is designed with this in mind, offering durability and comfort, while catering to a range of tastes. For the teens, it’s all about edgy, standout designs that make a statement on the water, while for parents, we’re leaning into classic, high-end aesthetics that deliver both a premium feel and superior protection. It’s the perfect fusion of functionality and style for all ages.

What are the main trends in the market for impact vests in 2025 and how are you addressing them?
We’ve taken customer feedback to heart and pushed the limits with our latest design, addressing key concerns around comfort and performance. Our new vests feature a softer- to-the-touch Silk Skin exterior, offering an incredibly smooth feel against the skin. We’ve also extended the torso length for a better fit (no mid-drift) and redesigned the armholes to be oversized, eliminating the risk of abrasion. The result is a tailored fit with ample room under the arms, giving riders full range of motion for both wakeboarding and swimming, all while ensuring zero irritation.

Tells us about your new vests styles & designs?
New for 2025, Silk Skin is the least abrasive material to ever be used in the life vest world. Extra smooth to the touch – and extra repellant to water. We also bought a robot that can thread the needle and weave the dream like no other impact jacket, stitching our way to happiness with 39 individual precision flex segments. This allows for a 4 way stretch to move along with you no matter how you contort your body on the water season after season.

How are you helping shops and parks to sell your product?
We’re bringing our pro team to some of the most popular cable parks across Europe this summer for demos and “Ride with the Pros” days. These events give riders the chance to see our gear in action and experience the performance firsthand. In addition, we’re offering free, anytime access to the same top-tier marketing materials our factory uses. This allows retailers to share our brand story in their own unique way, using the high-quality content our in-house media team works tirelessly to create. It’s all about keeping our brand narrative alive while helping retailers connect with their customers in the most authentic and engaging way possible.

Moon Stone Women’s Impact Vest:
Whoever questions if more segments aren’t more comfortable – hasn’t tried on this jacket. The engineers at Ronix have been thinking of their ultimate aquatic dream machine for years now. So, we bought a robot and had it craft a vest with roughly 3 times the amount of segments of a traditional impact jacket for the ultimate in mobility. We then worked with a leading textile supplier on a new fabric that takes soft to the touch to a new level, introducing Silk Skin. 39 segments – each created with extra mobility in mind.
