In our previous S/S 25 SUP Buyer’s Guide, most indicators showed the 2022-23 overstocks were mostly cleared out. Did 2024 end on the same note with a better demand vs. offer balance?
We managed to clear out our warehouse during 2024 and stock levels are back to normal. We are absolutely ready for the 2025 season and looking forward to a great start.
Cheaper entry-level iSUPs represent the bulk of the sales but the segment is flooded with brands and products, whereas more advanced SUPs offer better margins. How do you intend to position your brand on the market spectrum in 2025?
We are holding onto our strategy offering a good board for a reasonable prize. We have entry-level price points as well as mid range price point. We’re not going to compete with top price points as demand is small.
Which are your key inflatable models for 2025 in the Allround/Cruising segments?
For 2024 we revamped the Let’s go models and the light series . Both have new designs and on the light models were using a different fabric which is not heating up that fast in the sun.
There has been a relative status quo in the past 3 years regarding new technologies & materials. Do you have some exciting news to share for the year coming or did the SUP products reach maturity concerning designs/constructions?
We are a family, friendly and water loving brand so we focusing on easy cruising and fun for everybody. Our new family board is heaps of fun for 2, 3 or even 4 persons to have fun in the sun.
(hardboard brands only) The opportunity for hardboard sales seem to be whether in the school/rental area or inthe high-end performance models. Do you cater to this demand?
Quality and our Production facilities, materials stay more or less the same for us. our factories produce at a mature standard and we have no need to change that.
How are you supporting retailers through this difficult period?
Longer payment terms and an open ear if our retailers need something.
