How was demand in the sunscreen market in 2024?
It was very good! 2024 was the best year for Suntribe so far, and we really felt the winds of change blowing! All of a sudden it seems like it’s more than just us who are concerned about toxic-free living and we saw more appreciation for our sunscreens than ever before.
What are the new trends in Sunscreen?
The new trends in sunscreen are clear to me: Natural and non-whitening high SPF sunscreens are what people more and more commonly ask for.
Please Tell us about your innovations for 2025.
For 2025 we’ve prepared some really exciting launches. Our most anticipated innovations are in our new range of SPF Lip Balms. We’re releasing one advanced tinted SPF 30 lip balm, which combines amazing sun protection, hydration and a cosmetically lovely look. No whitening effect at all, and no weird ingredients as far as the eye can see. Then we’re complementing that with a high protection lip balm for sports, no weird ingredients and SPF 50.
What are the main ingredients you are using and how do you address sustainability/eco friendliness in your products?
Suntribe only uses non-nano mineral UV-filters like Zinc-Oxide for all our products. We complement that with using pure oils and butters instead of cheap synthetic filler ingredients. We address sustainability and eco friendliness by basically setting the bench standard of what these things mean in the context of sunscreen. We have never used any chemical UV-filters or filler ingredients, we have never used any packaging without considering which is the best material in terms of recyclability and durability, we always evaluate all our decisions using third party expertise such as that from the EWG (Environmental working group).
What other benefits, apart from sun protection, does your product offer?
The greatest benefit from using Suntribe products apart from sun protection is a worry-free state of mind.

We set the standard in offering natural Zinc & Sunscreen products, with product ranges appropriate for many different types of retailers. We offer complete ranges of sports zinc sunscreens, family sunscreens and cosmetics to go with it.
