How was 2023 for the hanging shoes market?
DB- Fairly good for all channels of distribution.
What are the current trends in hanging shoes?
DB- Slides since a few years with constant level of business & more recently sandals are trending.
What new styles and shapes are you offering in 2024?
DB- We’re extendind the offer with a focus on slides/sandals & hybrid open toe footwear. Slaps business remains strong, but we’re seeing a shift of demand on the styles I just mentioned.
What materials and construction techniques are you using in your 2024 collection?
DB- Our focus is to provide comfort & required technicity for our clients. We’ve developed an ultra light injected range with slides, double strap & slaps fit. We also have new all terrain gum soles on our new multi activity sandals range. And, we keep offering our Hydrobound sole on our super confortable Rivi slides & slaps franchise.
What colours and prints are you offering in 2024?
DB – All colors & prints are linked to our seasonal color palette & boardshorts all overs prints & arts.
Anything new in terms of sustainability?
DB- We’re offering a sustainable/recycled options in our two main best selling franchise (Molokai & Carver). Our mid/long term target is to extend that sustainable attribute to all the styles.
Please tell us about your key marketing stories for hanging shoes for 2024.
DB- We’ll focus on our new injected program this season. 3 styles with 4 to 6 super cool summery color options.
How are you helping retailers sell this category?
DB – We have trade support, display, digital assets & for the first time some of our key new style will be shot worn, with attitude.
