Retail Buyers Guide:  Snow Helmets F/W 2026/27 Retail Buyer’s Guide
Brand:  TSG
Interviewee: Nadja Herger, Head of Marketing & Communication

Which products sold best in the winter 2024/25 and why?
During the 2024/25 winter season, the TSG Gravity helmet remained one of our top sellers. Its success is driven by a combination of refined fit, smart design, and dependable protection. The helmet’s custom low, snug fit continues to resonate strongly with riders who value maximum comfort and stability, especially in high-intensity riding scenarios. Its ultra-slim hardshell construction offers a clean, stylish silhouette without compromising safety, making it a favourite among both freestyle and all-mountain riders. Additionally, the Gravity’s anatomical shaping ensures an ergonomic feel with reduced pressure points, resulting in excellent all-day comfort—an essential factor for winter sports enthusiasts. Altogether, the model strikes the right balance between style, protection, and fit, which explains its consistent performance at retail.

What are the design and material highlights of your 2026/27 collection?
For Winter 26/27, our collection becomes cleaner, smarter, and easier to understand, with fewer models and clearer choices while maintaining the trusted TSG performance riders expect. The Lotus and Gravity helmets merge into a single unified Gravity line, with all sizes—from XXS/XS to L/XL—consolidated into one strong product family, offering the same build and design without gender segmentation. The Vertice Mips expands its sizing with a new small shell, making the helmet available in XXS/XS for the first time with Mips protection. This brings enhanced rotational-impact safety to a head size that previously did not have access to this technology in our lineup. Sizes now span from XXS/XS to L/XL in a single, coherent model. Our kids’ range also becomes more streamlined, as Arctic Nipper Mini and Maxi merge into one Arctic Nipper model, available in two sizes (JXXS/JXS and XXS/XS). Across the helmet and goggle collections, we continue using colour as a strategic design tool to energize the snow lineup through a coordinated head-to-toe visual experience—exclusively within our helmets and goggles.

What colours and designs are you featuring in your 2026/27 collection? Any standout collaborations?
The 26/27 palette embraces soft, natural tones such as quiet green, storm blue, redwood, Lavandula, and dusky amber. We introduce dynamic colour themes inspired by polar lights in blue-pink combinations, paired with graphic concepts featuring abstract mountain motifs like our “Alpstract” design. We continue to use subtle fades, such as coal-to-green transitions, to add depth without overwhelming the clean design language. For kids, we integrate playful, high-energy variants like gloss blue surf—a fresh green-blue tone paired with a two-colour strap (pink on one side, yellow on the other)—as well as gloss black drip graphics featuring vibrant mini-icons. No external collaborations this season, but the graphic and colour innovations act as key design drivers.

Which product do you expect to grow the most in your 2026/2027 collection?
We expect the TSG Vertice Mips to see the strongest growth. Its combination of premium construction, full Mips rotational-impact protection, and an attractive retail price of EUR 169.95 positions it perfectly for today’s safety-aware consumer. With the addition of a new small shell (52–54 cm) for W26/27—now offering Mips in this size for the very first time—the Vertice Mips reaches a significantly expanded audience. We also anticipate continued growth in the Gravity line thanks to its expanded size offering, streamlined positioning, and broad consumer accessibility.

What are your marketing stories for 2026/27?
Our key story for 26/27 focuses on the Vertice Mips, now available in two shell sizes and, for the first time, offering full Mips protection down to XXS/XS. We will highlight the improved fit concept, expanded size range, and safety-driven upgrade. In addition, we will produce fresh content together with our team riders, showcasing real-world performance, authentic stories, and the product benefits in action. Alongside this, we will communicate the clarity and simplicity of the restructured helmet assortment, making it easier than ever for consumers and retailers to navigate the TSG lineup.

How are you supporting retailers to sell this category?
We support our retail partners through a combination of clear structures, stable conditions, and strong storytelling. We offer transparent and fair Terms & Conditions to establish trustful, long-term cooperation. Our stable pricing strategy, including no price increases for the W26/27 collection, is a major advantage in today’s market. Our products are designed to deliver premium value at mid-level price points, making them highly attractive for consumers and improving sell-through rates. This is backed by practical tools: sales meetings, detailed catalogues, and strong marketing assets that help retailers confidently present the full helmet and goggle category.
