The trade event calendar got busy in the 2nd week of January. SOURCE squeezed in a visit to Surf Expo after a 24 hour flight delay as storms rolled through the Florida peninsular. The show was the same size as last year, however, this year the shaping bay was moved to a new location on the show floor. Medium size clothing brands saw an increase in footfall as many shops are looking to freshen up their offering. Retailers were kept busy visiting the diverse mix of brands, such as Lost, Spy, Dark Seas, Globe, Hydroflask and many more. The brands covered all the summer boardsport categories.
