What is your assessment of the 2025 business: new impetus, cleared old stocks, sounder growth, better quality products ?
With WATTSUP, we had anticipated inventory, which allowed us to get ahead and renew the product range earlier for last season. Our manufacturing process is very well established now, enabling us to be efficient and highly responsive

Do you favor segmented distribution channels? (entry-level allrounders via online D2C and sports chain stores, advanced models for core retailers?)
WATTSUP identifies as a mainstream, family-oriented brand. We have strong partnerships with retailers who understand the brand and match our target audience. We have two main ranges, which are differentiated by the accessories included in the pack.

Which are your key inflatable models for 2026 in the Allround/Cruising segments?
The models that have managed to stand out are:

The WATTSUP F11 is a highly versatile SUP that offers excellent glide while remaining very stable. It’s a must-have, and its success comes from the fact that it is very compact, very affordable, and sold as a complete package. Its dropstitch construction allows for a maximum load of 150 kg.
The WATTSUP Espadon 11’8 is also a versatile SUP, but the pack is even more complete, as it includes a double paddle, allowing it to be used in combo kayak mode. This all-round shape also provides excellent glide and great stability. It is equipped with multiple D-rings, which allow attaching various gear such as a kayak seat. The bag has been redesigned with a cohesive design and additional pockets and attachment points.

Which Specialty iSUPs are growing/decreasing in 2026 ? (Race & Flatwater, River, Fishing, SUP-Kayak, SUP surfing…)
Over the years, we have observed that the models experiencing growth are those that work well in all types of environments and combine different activities, such as being able to switch to kayak mode, for example. This is why we have segmented our ranges to combine ease of use with versatility.

Is innovation stalling or did the SUP reach maturity regarding designs and constructions?
In terms of innovation, the SUP is already a mature product, but there are still areas for improvement regarding weight reduction, durability, and environmental sustainability. For example, our constructions limit the use of glue, which is replaced by hot-welding processes, an important factor for these aspects. As part of our eco-responsible approach, we have also replaced all individual plastic packaging with recycled kraft paper packaging.

How can you help retailers make a difference when most SUPs are at a click’s range online?
With our 10 years of experience, retailers are well familiar with Wattsup and trust our products. They have been able to test and approve them over the years. We offer the benefits of an in-store experience, with expert advice and extensive product knowledge, while ensuring a price competitive with online sales.
