In our previous SUP Buyer’s Guide, most indicators showed the 2022-23 overstocks were clearing out. Did 2024 end on the same note with a better demand vs. offer balance?
We have significantly reduced our stock from previous years. This year, we plan to completely clear out the remaining products so we can focus on launching new products for 2026
Cheaper entry-level iSUPs represent the bulk of the sales but the segment is flooded with brands and products, whereas more advanced SUPs offer better margins. How do you intend to position your brand on the market spectrum in 2026?
This year, we have introduced a very wide range of products specifically designed for chain stores, with highly competitive recommended retail prices (RRP). Following the surprising sales results of last year, we have increased both the quantities and models. We aim to achieve significant sales results for the 2025 season as well.
Which are your key inflatable models for 2026 in the Allround/Cruising segments?
The Allround segment is the most popular and requested among the general public. Cruising is also growing in popularity as Sunday users, who initially choose an Allround model, plan to transition to faster boards as their skills improve.
Which Specialty iSUP are you pushing in 2026: Race & Flatwater, River, Fishing, SUP-Kayak…?
We plan to evaluate the performance of 2025 to determine our direction for 2026 and future projects, certainly the products specifically designed for chain stores have gained an important place for our present and presumably also for the future.
There has been a relative status quo the past 3 years regarding new technologies & materials?
Do you have some exciting news to share for the year coming or did the SUP products reach a maturity in designs/constructions?
Not at the moment. We have decided to continue using widely adopted and well-tested technologies. Additionally, we are conducting tests with thermal welding for the rails for future applications.
How are you supporting retailers through this difficult period?
We certainly offer drop-shipping to retailers, as well as the option of FOB. Additionally, we provide support in the territory through open days, participation in events, and charity activities. Our strong presence on major social media platforms, combined with these activities, provides retailers with excellent brand awareness to rely on.
