How was the 2025 hanging shoes market?
Our business has grown steadily and organically over the years without explosive growth but at a rate that is healthy. Since being in business since 2009 we have some close retail partners in various areas of the world that span from Surf, Lifestyle, Boutique and our own Flagship Stores in Bali, Indonesia. We now have 7 of our own stores which allows the story to be told properly.

What are the current trends in hanging shoes?
Consistency has been the advantage for us. In 2018 we introduced our ESSNTLS Flip Flops and Slides line and a Shaka vibe hanger for the Men’s hanging flip flops. Retailers love the Shaka hanger and its so simple yet effective. In 2024 we introduced our Easy Living collection. At an affordable price of $40 USD / 35 EU we can offer a 65% recycled flip flop with great comfort, arch support and our signature recycled tire soles. The most durable soles in the market. Our point was to prove that every consumer can wear responsibly crafted / B Corp Certified products. Easy Living erases the stigma that “Conscious Consumerism” is only for the elite and too expensive. Now, Easy Living is our Top Selling product across the company.

What new styles and shapes are you offering in 2026?
In 2026 we have grown our Easy Living range to 10 colors and added a Reggae Collection as well as platforms for the ladies. The Easy Living Platform has immediately been a top seller at $55 USD / $55 EU and we have cranked it up to 10 colors on offer. There is no break-in period and it is 100% waterproof. Additionally, we have new colors in our versatile ESSNTLS slides collection which is a staple in our line. At $55 USD / 50 EU the slides are low-profile and dress up or down depending on the occasion.

What materials and construction techniques are you using in your 2026 collection?
At Indosole we have always built from the ground up. Our soles are made with recycled materials of either recycled tires or sneaker parts. The footbeds are a mix of recycled EVA and natural rubber. Our Easy Living collection features a 100% recycled Nylon Straps. We also have some amazing partnerships with artisans in Indonesia called Handep and also Pable and their recycled textile waste. Super Premium and carries a nice story along with it.

What colours and prints are you offering in 2026?
We are sticking to what has been working. Adding seasonal colors to our ESSNTLS and Easy Living Line. Also focused on some fun collaborations with other brands.

Anything new in terms of sustainability?
We have spent 5 years building a new technology called Riverfoam. In partnership with a non-profit called Sungai Watch we have pulled tons of flip flops from the dirty rivers in Indonesia, sanitized them and ground them into a granule. Those flip flops can then be remolded into a new flip flop as a mid-sole. Our Riversole flip flop has the highest recycled content of any sandal on the market. Plus, it can be recycled again at the end of life!

Please tell us about your key marketing stories for hanging shoes for 2026
In 2026, we’re focused on making products that look good, feel good, and just happen to have a powerful recycled story behind them. Style, comfort, and versatility come first. Responsibility and B Corp status backs it up.

How are you helping retailers sell this category?
We are offering free fixtures included with pre-pack orders and/or promo product for shop staff. POP with process graphics and lifestyle photography is a bonus for the retailer that will give us the space. Strong partnerships mean the world to us. We love to have conversations and see how we can support each other and especially in tricky times.

We launched this piece in our stores in Bali in late 2025 and the response has been electric. It hits like a Bob Marley song. Happy + Feelgood vibes all day long

Our ladies wanted a lightweight and easy platform that will transition seamlessly from beach to bar scene. The 100% recycled nylon strap has no break in period and we offer 10 colors.

Women’s Handep Gegatas Weave Slides:
We partnered with a female led collective of weavers in Kalimantan, Indonesia. Each pair features handwoven craft done the old fashioned way. These sandals evoke love and premium craftsmanship in every pair.
