Interviewee: Tomáš Koudela, Head of Marketing

In 2 sentences – how was the men’s snow outerwear market in 2024/25?
Despite tougher conditions, the market felt pretty standard overall. We still grew year-on-year, kept costs on plan, and our product mix landed well—plus our women’s segment is growing even faster.

What are the main trends you take your inspiration from for 2026/27?
Because we sell to different audiences, we track each one separately—there isn’t one single “across the board” trend. For the on-trend riders and the community, baggy pants and boxy jackets are popping off, ideally with a slightly retro look but modern tech. For the mainstream target group, colours and interesting patterns are still key—but even there we see fits getting wider and a stronger move towards black.

What new jacket fits and pant silhouettes are coming out in 2026/27?
We’re rolling out wider versions of our classics. Women’s anoraks are still trending hard, and our top women’s jacket Sora got a full update this year—more stylish look with a better modern vibe. The Neva jacket with a boxy fit is the most on-trend piece in this drop. Another strong trend: more and more girls are buying men’s styles, turning a lot of the line into true unisex.

Tell us about colours and prints:
Colours and prints are a key part of our women’s collection. The standout all-over prints are Nomad and Wonderland—they make jackets instantly pop on the slope, and we also run them across matching pants, gloves, layering pieces and other accessories. The solid colour range leans into pastels and earth tones—highlights are Dusky Orchid, Tea, Lunar, and Storm. And of course black is still super important and keeps ranking at the top in women’s as well.

Any *NEW* technical stories with regards to fabrics and materials?
We keep using our Ultratech fabric that’s been proven for years, developed together with our Taiwan-based partners. In our premium insulated styles we stick with trusted PrimaLoft insulation, and across the whole line you’ll find YKK zippers and Coats threads. We also run PFC-free DWR across all products.

How are you addressing sustainability topics, not only in production of your products (materials, transportation, packaging) but also their after-life / repurposing?
On the production side we work with long-term, proven partners certified by WRAP (Worldwide Responsible Accredited Production), and our material suppliers follow bluesign standards. When it comes to fabrics, we’re always looking for the best balance between sustainability, performance, and long product lifespan—because durability is the biggest sustainability win. We often hear feedback like “I’ve had your jacket for 10+ years and it still looks new,” which is the best proof we’re on the right track. We run PFC-free DWR on all products and use smart packaging: tech products go in P-life oxo-biodegradable bags, and streetwear is packed in bags made from recycled LDPE waste—plus we started folding products to half size to reduce bag volume (small change, big impact). And by producing most of our street collection in the EU, we cut our footprint thanks to shorter, more efficient logistics.

How are you targeting the female boardsports clients?
Women’s buying behaviour and the way they make decisions is pretty different vs. guys—more impulsive, way more about look + fit, and they love getting inspired. So we mix community + mainstream content through our female ambassadors, and outside of the top tech pieces we don’t over-push specs—we focus more on inspo, showing how it fits, how it looks on-snow, and how to style/use it. For us, social media is the main channel.

Any trends that your brand is moving away from?
We haven’t really dropped any style completely—except slim-fit pants, which we moved away from a while ago. It’s more about trimming certain categories to make room for what’s trending right now: for example we’ve reduced bib pants down to one option, and basic jackets plus jackets with big logo placements play a smaller role. The core of our line has shifted towards mid to higher price points with more technical, more refined-looking models. Anoraks are still working for us.

What are your big marketing campaigns for 2026/27?
On the women’s side, besides our themed campaigns focused on the two all-over prints Nomad and Wonderland, we’ll push the baggy / unisex vibe too—linking the on-trend Neva jacket fit with Baron baggy pants and our bestseller Tala Anorak. We also spotlight key bestsellers across the whole collection, each one aimed at its intended audience—from core community girls all the way to mainstream.
