How would you describe the 2024/25 splitboard season in terms of market performance and consumer demand?
Areas with good conditions has been good and less interest where the winter did only a quick visit
What major trends are shaping the splitboard market (pricing, consumer preferences, backcountry participation)?
The interest of being in the mountains in general and to have the equipment for the best experience possible.
From changing consumer behavior to tariffs and supply chain stress, what’s been the biggest challenge for your brand recently?
Us tariffs is the most challenging at the moment.
How are you supporting retailers in selling this category?
Try to support retail in the best way as we are aware of how much retailers are for means for the market in every aspect.
SPLITBOARD SPECIFIC
What trends or innovations in construction, shapes, or functionality (skinning, transitions, riding) are you highlighting in your 26/27 range?
Same permanent shapes – lightweight and functional for the performance. Our patent of the «Pow Pad» that turns the split into a binding less version.
Are you using new materials in your splitboards (inserts, edges, cores, sidewalls, resin, glues, wood types, bases, top sheets, wax, etc.)?
Same high quality producition. Made to make the most out of the boards. Certified fabrics and made for long lasting. Sintered bases, poplar/beech wood cores and non toxic water color eco top sheet.
What new approaches are you taking in design — graphics, patterns, collabs, or limited editions?
Classic, timeless design in white and blue top – black and white base.
Are you putting a stronger emphasis on particular ranges (e.g., freeride, expedition, lightweight touring, women’s-specific, entry-level) for 26/27?
Our MT 1180/Hokkaido gets more attention – pure fun it self riding with bindings, and next level with easily attaching the «Pow pad» and enjoying the mountain sides binding less. Else its the whole aspect of it, exploring and riding finding the great lines.

Fjell^ MT 1365s^:
157/161,8/164,5/168cm – Lightweight and easy for the hike, trusty and precise for the ride. Attaches early on the top in any weather conditions. A versatile freestyle inspired backcountry board for all types of riding and terrain. From big turns in steep mountain sides in powder, to playful terrain, packed snow- it handles it all. Early rise nose rocker and tail with rocker for enormous flow in powder, slightly tapered, solid camber between the bindings. Side cut that provides a stable yet easy and to maneuver. Lightweight poplar wood core, strengthen with beech strings that provides flex with great response and snap. Reinforced with beech for torsional rigidity. Fjell^ MT 1180s/Hokkaido + Pow Pad:
150cm – Lightweight, short “volume” board for fun and creative riding. The large nose with early rise rocker gives the board a unique float in powder. As the model name suggests, it has directed ride characteristics intended for the playful terrain. Even for the short length of the board, it has buoyancy and fantastic float. The stiffer flex and the board’s turn-in also gives an experience in more packed snow for turning. The MT 1180 HOKKAIDO sits steady throughout the turn and provides stability at high speed. Attach the Pow Pad in great pow days and surf the mountain sides binding less.

Fjell^ MT 1542s^:
160cm – Lightweight board with a surfy feel. Large nose with early rise rocker and swallow tail that gives enormous float and response in powder. MT1542^ is a stable board that floats very well due to its hybrid rocker – camber and slightly tapered shape. Full poplar wood core with beech reinforcement provides easy to ride and very stable at higher speeds. The swallow tail sets and very easy on edge to edge, very quick turning respons. The sintered base accelerates quickly, in addition to being robust against rough terrain in all snow conditions.
