Additionally, a recently established U.S. satellite office supports marketing, communications, and brand partner relationships on a global scale.
New hires to the Monaco-based KOROYD team include Nick Tanner, Senior Product Design Engineer, bringing with him over 25 years experience designing products from concept to consumer delivery in a variety of sectors including medical, fast-moving consumer goods, food, defense and transport. Catherine Matje is also recently appointed as Research & Development Engineer, who has coupled a Bachelor’s degree in Medical Engineering with her passion for sport through a Master’s in Sports Technology from the University of Applied Sciences in Vienna as she enters her new role.
KOROYD aims to continually grow technology awareness and adoption within markets, emphasized by its new brand identity and core messaging on the revamped website, koroyd.com, clarifying tech features and benefits of crumple, absorb, and protect while gaining greater engagement with brand partners and consumers alike.
With established leadership in impact protection systems across bike and snowsports, and increasing growth within motorsports, KOROYD continues market category expansion in the industrial sector with recent products launched with General Electric and Studson, and additional notable brand partners to be announced within 2023.
“With over 100 awards and distinctions and 53 granted patents to its name, the expanded investment into experienced teams, new R&D lab capabilities, and consumer-focused marketing sets the next benchmark for KOROYD’s continued growth in advanced protection systems. We’re proud of the products we’ve developed to date – rooted in lab testing and backed by scientifically proven results – and excited to share KOROYD’s next phase of innovation with the world,” said John Lloyd, KOROYD Founder and Managing Director.
