How was the sunglasses market overall in 2025?
We had a good sell out on the technical frames and the entry prices. People were looking for more tech features and benefits in their outdoor activities or attractive prices to consider eyewear as fashion accessory.

What new trends have you seen for sunglasses in board sports for 2026?
The main key trends are still the wrapped rectangle and oval shapes inspired of the Y2K. One piece shield is still the key style for the mass market

Which segment of your 2026 offering do you expect to sell best and why?
Our franchise Slash is in the top seller 2025. This is our technical cylindric shield available with different lens technologies as polarized, photochromic, X-trem antifog with hydro and oleophobic treatments. Our iconic shape the Ferris which is more casual, and perennial is still also in our best seller for more than 12 years! Buying Quiksilver sunnies, our consumers are still looking for a mix of performance and lifestyle to wear them every day in all conditions and activities.

What new frame shapes and colours are in your 2026 offer?
New style launched on 2026 is the WINCH: a bulky fashion urban shape with bevels on the fronts. We’ve also added some price points at 60€ to offer kind of sporty shapes that could be worn everyday. Colours are still in the dark & tonal as dark smoke grey, camo, tortoise and black frames with many matte treatments.

Which lens technologies from your 2026 offer are most in demand?
Quiksilver consumers are looking for polarized lenses

Any noteworthy sustainable practices in your production and shipping processes this year?
A made in France product:
The FERRIS NEO. We collect some used wetsuits in Boardriders stores; this is the Take back Program. We send those wetsuits to Oceneo, a French company doing sunnies with recycled wetsuits. They cut the wetsuits and remove the zip to grind into neoprene powder. This poswder is mixed with natural pine resine. Then they inject this material into a mold to make sunglasses 100%, made in France with recycled neoprene.
