What are the main customers’ demands when buying snow goggles?
Clients are searching for good products at the right price. Products providing visual clarity and comfort, helping on performance when riding. Frames with thin lines, lenses adaptable to each type of weather.
What were your biggest sellers in 2023/24? Why?
Our best seller called Storm is a mid price product, made Italy. A super lightweight frame with wide lens vision. Offered in many colors.
What type of snow goggles from your 2024/2025 collection do you expect to grow the most?
We expanded our range offer over 120€, sold with bonus lens, with our speed connect system to easily change the lens.
What are the technical highlights of your 024/25 collection?
We expanded our range of speed connect system. We have now 2 different speed connect system, one with magnets intergrate, and the other one without magnet, just a press sealed system.
What construction techniques and materials are you using in your 2024/25 goggle collection?
As mentionned above we expand our range of speed connect technology, and 70% of our range is now using Bio base TPU frame injection and recycled nylon strap, meaning products concerned are using at least 30% of recycled or bio base ra material on the total weight, and we would like to grow again that % in the future, we are not using anymore varnish, solvant, we are using water base glue. Our frame are not paint anymore, we are using pigments directly on the injection, cleaner for the planet and using less water in production.
What colours and designs are you featuring in your 2024/25 collection? Any standout collaborations?
Basic colors like black, dark grey tons and as well hearthy tons like army green mixed with a little of pop color, like orange or lime.
Are you implementing sustainability in your products and production processes?
Yes as mentionned upper, we focused on cleaner products and process. Implementing closer sourcing as well in Europe for our European order with 70% of the collection made in Italy for coming season, even if part of components are still consolidated in asia, as we lost a big part of the industry here in Europe, Quiksilver always kept parners here in Europe since more than 20 years. And we hope to do more in the future.
What are your marketing stories for 2024/25?
Pushing our rider capsule / signature.
Introducing this year the Webb (new Travis rice goggles) moving to another world of peripheral vision with specific lens technology.
As well pushing our Miles Fallon switchback signature offered with a photochromic lens called Adapt® integrated in the Mercury capsule, heritage of surfer of fortune story around a full offer of product.
And Austen sweetin Browdy Nxt® signature complementing our segment high altitude.
How are you helping retailers to sell this category?
Plan is on the way to grow and regain our market shares this season on core market. Putting budget on event activation, seegind and display in stores
What is your situation regarding stock and deliveries?
We suffure realy bad deliveries last season, but we are on the track to get good deliveries this season. Our stock is pretty clean as we carried over most of left over stock.
