About Brasserie Valaisanne
As early as 1865 — when wine was almost exclusively consumed in the canton of Valais — Brasserie Valaisanne brewed its first beer in Sion. Since then, the brewery has stood for beer culture in the region. With passion and dedication, 14 brewers craft beers that are increasingly gaining popularity throughout Switzerland, even beyond the cantonal borders. Innovative small-batch specialty brews are also created in the microbrewery, which opened in 2019, and are tailored for selected gastronomy clients. Since mid-2025, Valaisanne beers are brewed in the new sustainable brewery in Vétroz, Switzerland.
