Shiner Group is Now Official European Master Distributor for Triple Eight Distribution

Shiner Group have announced that they have been appointed the official European Master distributor for Triple Eight, expanding its long- standing relationship with the broader Triple Eight Distribution family of protection brands. Effective 1 December 2025, Shiner will manage European distribution for Triple Eight, joining its existing distribution of Pro-Tec and 187 Killer Pads, and further complemented by the addition of Eight Ball.

As part of the rollout, Triple Eight products are now available to order across Europe, with phased availability in specific territories:

Austria: Available to order from 1 December 2025

Luxembourg, Netherlands & Belgium: Available to order from 1 January 2026

This expansion strengthens Shiner’s position as the major distributor of action sports protective gear across the continent, offering retailers a comprehensive and category- leading protection portfolio.

Charlie Allen, Managing Director at Shiner Group, commented: “We’re extremely proud to deepen our partnership with Triple Eight and to represent their full family of protection brands across Europe. Triple Eight is highly respected for its technical innovation and rider-driven heritage. Adding this and Eight Ball to our existing work with Pro-Tec and 187 Killer Pads gives us an unparalleled protective offering for our retail partners. This partnership enhances our commitment to delivering top-tier, safety-focused products backed by exceptional service and support.”

justin Rimbert of Triple Eight Distribution commented:  “Shiner has been part of the Triple Eight family for well over a decade, and they’ve played a huge role in building our presence across Europe. Making them our Master Distributor felt like the natural next step. The distribution landscape has changed a lot over the past few years, and we wanted to make sure riders and retailers in Europe still have the best access to our full range of gear. Expanding our partnership with Shiner helps us do exactly that. We’re stoked for what’s ahead and can’t wait to see more riders across Europe protected and out there doing what they love.”

About the Triple Eight Brand Family

Founded in New York City in 1995, Triple Eight is recognised globally for its premium helmets, pads and protective gear for skateboarding, BMX, roller derby, scooters, longboarding, water sports & more. Known for blending certified protection with comfort and street-ready design, the brand is trusted by Olympic gold medalists, pros and everyday riders alike. The Triple Eight family also includes:

Pro-Tec – Founded in 1973, Pro-Tec is the original skateboard protective gear brand featuring the market’s most recognizable style of helmets. 187 Killer Pads – 187 Killer Pads has been designing and constructing pads for top professionals for the past decade. Started by a long-time skater in a family-owned upholstery shop, 187 Killer Pads has since become the preferred choice of skaters worldwide. With its visionary designs and revolutionary systems, 187 Killer Pads continues to lead the way in raising industry standards and making protective gear better.

Eight Ball – A growing protection line built on a combined 80 years of expertise from the minds behind Triple Eight and Pro-Tec — delivering high-quality, value-driven protection to all ages and abilities
