What is your brand’s core mission or philosophy?
Vibram Mission has always been to create the best soles in the World, and our Vision is to create innovative performance products that inspire people to experience the world.

How has your brand been involved in the snowboard boot category over the past few years?
Over the past few years, we have tried to strengthen our presence in the snowboard boot category by bringing Vibram renowned traction and durability qualities to the snow-covered mountains. Working closely with leading snowboard boot brands, we’ve developed specialized outsole solutions that enhance grip, stability, and comfort in cold and variable conditions. Our innovations – such as Vibram Arctic Grip All Terrain technology and Vibram Icetrek or Ecostep compounds – are engineered to perform on ice, snow and mixed terrain, giving riders confidence from the first lift to the après scene. Beyond performance, we continue to focus on sustainability and long-lasting design, helping reduce material waste and extend product life. From backcountry exploration to resort riding, our expertise in high-performance rubber compounds ensures that snowboarders can rely on every step – on and off the board.

Which boot collabs are your most successful in the snowboard market?
We should ask the brands we collab with, but generally speaking we are proud of all the partnership we have successfully established during the years.

What are your innovations for 2026/27?
We are focusing on Arctic Grip All Terrain – which as been further developed from its original Arctic Grip, a technology that has superior grip on wet ice conditions; moreover, we are working on the design of the outsoles, including our Traction Lug technology to increase the traction on uneven grounds, and our midsoles solutions.

What are the benefits of using Vibram soles?
We would say the one (benefit) that is associated with our brand in the other fields: quality. This means, dividing the answer in two:
For the user: a product that focuses on performance, durability and safety which you can trust.
For the brand: partnering with an dedicated and passionate team of professional people who will support you during and after the creation of the product.

What steps are you taking toward sustainability and ethical production in your (materials, processes, lifecycle, packaging)?
In recent years, we’ve been investing heavily in the research and development of innovative, low-impact materials. Among our most significant achievements are Ecostep Recycle, which incorporates around 30% recycled rubber, and Ecostep Natural, made of more than 90% biobased materials. We continuously measure the environmental impacts of our soles through LCA analyses, allowing us to identify improvement areas and make data-driven decisions. At the same time, we are working on optimizing our production processes, with a strong focus on reducing waste and energy consumption. We have also made clear choices on the packaging front: all our B2B packaging is made from recycled cardboard. Overall, we are committed to a structured and continuous journey aimed at reducing our impact by improving both our products and our processes, with a strong focus on scrap reduction and energy efficiency.
