CAPiTA Welcomes Mia Brookes to Team
GB Snowsport’s youngest member, 14 year old Mia Brookes, has signed with CAPiTA Snowboards where she’ll join an already established team of pros and explorers.
Last December, Mia placed 2nd in slopestyle at the Europa Cup in Switzerland, she then went on to place 2nd at Crans Montana in January, 2021. The following month, Mia won her first Europa Cup event in Davos.
Whilst too young to compete in the 2022 Winter Olympics, Mia plans to continue training and competing on the youth snowboarding competition circuits, ready for the 2026 Winter Olympics.
Austrian snowboard brand, CAPiTA is proud to announce Mia is joining their team, to foster and support young and emerging talent. As CAPiTA says, “The future is bright – the future is now”.
