In 2 sentences – how was the men’s snow outerwear market in 2025/26?
Overall it seems we had decent snow in key areas that resulted in good stoke and sell through.  Retailers were conservative in ordering with market headwinds on the horizon, but so far this fall we have seen the same excitement for the winter as usual.

What are the main trends you take your inspiration from for 2026/27?
Our focus for 2627 Men’s outerwear has been on clean TECH and refined FIT for every body. To ratcheting up tech, we’ve revamped almost our entire line, introducing lighter & stronger fabrics, shaving any details that add unnecessary drag, all while doubling down on construction techniques and details that shed water.  Simultaneously, we’ve passed over all of our silhouettes, making sure that the fits are dialed.  Primary focus now is of course on baggier fits, but with the features to securely batten down all hatches, beat the storm, and not have excess fabric flapping in the wind.  Having more fun starts with being warm, dry, and comfortable all day long.

What new jacket fits and pant silhouettes are coming out in 2026/27?
Airblaster BEAST 3L DROP TAIL BIB is a new backcountry dream bib that we have wanted to do for a long time.  Working with key backcountry riders and guides, we developed a 3L Bib that is ready for any mountaineering attack, yet has the dope Mid Baggy fit that mountaineering brands aren’t likely to hit.  Minimalist upper bib design with medium bib height doesn’t interfere with pack straps, and extra long YKK Aquaguard outside leg vent zippers dump heat and allow the drop tail to fall away while shoulder straps are still securely on your shoulders. Holy crap! BEAST 3L TOUR JACKET  has also been redesigned lighter and faster for high-and-wild pow-slaying missions.  Working with key backcountry riders and guides, we developed a 3L Jacket that is ready for any mountaineering attack, yet has the dope Mid Baggy fit that mountaineering brands aren’t likely to hit.  Helmet compatible hood has perfect fit with or without helmet.  Gusseted underarm panel has YKK Aquaguard® Waterproof pit zips, for ultimate mobility and snag-free ventilation.   Eco-Vortex 3L shell fabric is 30,000mm waterproof and 100% recycled.  Fully taped 3-Layer construction keeps you dry from inside and out. AIRBLASTER BEAST SUIT is always the ultimate for those who can afford the best powder forcefield in the universe.  Pillage powder like a Beast! The Airblaster Beast Suit takes powder protection to the highest level with 30K head-to-toe coverage, 100% recycled shell fabric, welded bar tacks, and a convenient 350 degree hip zip for answering nature’s call. One-piece coverage is seamlessly superior to any pants+jacket setup, especially considering those pesky gaps that emerge when cartwheeling ass-over-teakettle in separates. One-piece = no gaps. Snorkel not included.

Tell us about colours and prints:
Clean solids, tonal color blocks, and some subtle tone-on-tone grid camos for Men.  Airblaster always keeps a little POP up our sleeve, but now it is more about popping the details, designing fresh / crisp new branding, and polishing the finish. ICE and BODE BLACK ICE prints look like futuristic T3 Terminator liquid aluminum, but these prints have been created from incredible detail photos of arctic ocean ice, bending light with its sea shaped facets. Futuristic by nature.

Any *NEW* technical stories with regards to fabrics and materials?
New lightweight 30K ripstop adopted for our ultralight / ultra-protective BEAST SERIES outerwear.

How are you addressing sustainability topics, not only in production of your products (materials, transportation, packaging) but also their after-life / repurposing?
We are always looking for how we can be more sustainable and more efficient in all areas.  In production a few main items are:
100% of Airblaster products are made without PFC or PFAS
All black taffeta lining material is either 100% recycled or 100% solution dye
Many Airblaster outerwear shell fabrics are 100% recycle.  We use a recycled icon to identify these styles, and we don’t put a recycled stamp on anything unless outer / main fabric is100% recycled content. We focus on building products that last for years.  Where products break due to the hardest abuse, we offer customers the option of a credit towards local repair as the best option.

Any trends that your brand is moving away from?
We’re moving towards the same trends Airblaster has always moved towards, namely those that support having fun on your snowboard.  We’re not interested in trying to sell hardcore mountaineer bros our durable summit-ready snowboard outerwear in dope fits.  We stay in our lane, committed to our line.  We’re not poseurs or public corporations with big budgets creeping in to sell shiny corporate outerwear to snowboarders, but thats not to say that you can’t find plenty of that out there.  If thats what you’re into.

What are your big marketing campaigns for 2026/27?
Support Independent Snowboarding.

These are essentially waterproof baggy jeans, the staple of late 90’s snowboarding.  They have pleats, belt loops, adjustable waist cinch, 4 secure pockets, and even leg gaiters to keep out the snow. The high denier fabric is durable with a 10,000mm waterproof rating and critical seam taping. The cut is Baggy Plus some, with ample room to move for things like shifties, reverts, and even shifty-reverts. The more detail, opinion, description & comment you give us, the more we can feature you.
