Fingerboard Con Makes European Debut in Barcelona with Biggest Event Yet
Fingerboard Con Heads to Barcelona for Its 1st European Edition
After an unforgettable weekend in Boston, where Fingerboard Con #3 drew record crowds, the energy surrounding the fingerboard scene has never been higher. With more than 10 vendors, multiple contests, and international guests, Boston set a new benchmark for what fingerboard events could be. Now, the excitement rolls into Europe, as Barcelona prepares to host Fingerboard Con Barcelona, and it’s shaping up to be the most vibrant edition yet.

Taking place on Sunday, August 10 at the Renaissance Barcelona Fira Hotel, FBCon Barcelona will bring together fingerboarding enthusiasts, brands, and community leaders from across the continent and beyond. With vendor applications now open, the event promises a packed showroom floor featuring the latest decks, obstacles, wheels, and more, from established names to rising stars on the scene.
The Barcelona edition already shows a 30% increase in registered vendors compared to previous European meetups, and there’s been a significant rise in applications from international brands looking to make their mark in the European market. With the city’s strong local scene and easy accessibility, organizers are expecting a record turnout, with fans traveling in from across Spain, France, Germany, and even as far as Canada and the U.S.
This year, FBCon Barcelona spans two full days of fingerboarding action. On Saturday, August 9, Berta Gutiérrez Díaz and the Barcelona fingerboard community will host a pre-con event, giving visitors an authentic taste of the local scene. Expect DIY-style sessions, trick jams, and a relaxed vibe, perfect for warming up before the main event. Then on Sunday, all eyes turn to the Renaissance Hotel for the main event: FBCon Barcelona. Expect brand showcases, product drops, panel discussions, best trick contests, giveaways, and more.
The hotel venue offers attendees easy access to the event floor, with special rates available for those booking in advance. For those exploring the city, Barcelona offers a wide variety of accommodation options nearby, as well as a rich cultural backdrop for those looking to make a weekend of it.

Whether you’re a rider, collector, shop owner, or simply a fan of the culture, FBCon Barcelona is shaping up to be an unmissable event. The combination of passionate local hosts, international participation, and a stunning venue ensures that this will be a defining moment in Europe’s fingerboard calendar.
Mark your calendars, pack your boards, and get ready. Barcelona, we’ll see you soon.
