Brand: CHPO
Interviewee: Sofia Helmstrand, Marketing Manager
How have your sales been in 2025 so far?
2025 has been another great year for us. We’ve seen significant growth within the sports segment and a remarkable increase in interest in general across Central Europe, in addition to our strong footholds in Southern Europe. We continue to expand our markets and strengthen our position, with growing demand for our products, where skate, surf and snowboard remain at the heart of everything we do.
What are the key trends in sunglasses for board sports for Spring/Summer 2026?
For S/S 2026, we’re seeing a growing demand for functionality, something we’ve really embraced through our new photochromic lenses. Now available across sunglasses, sports eyewear and goggles. We’re also refining other parts of our range to make our eyewear as performance-driven and versatile as possible. At the same time, Y2K-inspired shapes continue to trend, and the “fast look” remains strong, not just within the core sports segment, but as a broader fashion statement as well.
Which segment of your 2025 offering is selling best and why?
In 2025, we’ve seen strong results across the board. From photochromic sports styles (and sport styles in general), to slim, fashion-forward frames popular in both city, mountain and beach settings. Our classic, all-round designs continue to perform well too, showing that our eyewear truly fits every lifestyle, from nature and sport to everyday urban life.
What frame shapes and colours will you offer in your SS26 collection?
We are expanding our sports collection with new, performance-driven shapes and updating existing favorites for an even better fit and function. Our goggles range will also see fresh, stylish and functional designs, now featuring our photochromic lenses for maximum versatility. On the lifestyle side, we’re adding more variety in colors and patterns, with tones such as green, brown and burgundy that capture a natural, effortless look. Along with modern and trendy designs and styles with a retro touch, offering something for everyone.
What materials are you using in your SS26 collection?
For SS26, we’re keeping sustainability at the core of everything we do. All our sunglasses are made from recycled, GRS-certified plastic and our goggles feature frames and straps made from the same material. Our metal eyewear and watches uses ReSteel, a term for recycled stainless steel. We continue to use only vegan leather made from recycled plastic for our watch straps. By choosing these materials in our products and packaging, we’re not just reducing our footprint we’re helping push the industry in a more responsible direction.
What lens technologies will you offer in your SS26 collection?
We’re offering a range of advanced lens technologies designed for both performance and everyday wear. Our photochromic lenses adapt seamlessly to changing light conditions. Several of our sport styles feature contrast-enhancing lenses that sharpen detail and depth perception, perfect for high-speed conditions on land or snow. We’re also introducing goggles with fully clear lenses, ideal for low-light sessions, night riding or cloudy days when visibility is key.
Which lens colours and tints will you be offering in SS26?
In our collection, you’ll find a broad mix of lens colours and tints, from gradient shades in brown and black to contrast-enhancing options in multiple tones for sharper visibility and performance. We’ve also widened our range of tinted lenses across more frame styles. There is a lens colour for everyone and every outfit.
Any new sustainable practices in your production and shipping processes?
Sustainability has always been at the core of our business, and we continue to refine our processes every step of the way. All our products are made from recycled plastic and recycled stainless steel, and we’re constantly evolving to be even more responsible. Through our collaboration with CleanHub, our aim is to always be net zero plastic. We encourage all our partners and customers to join us on that journey through campaigns to e.g. adopt a beach with CleanHub.
What are your SS26 marketing stories?
Our SS26 marketing story celebrates Swedish nature and freedom inspired by Allemansrätten, the right for anyone to roam and make use of the Swedish nature. It’s about adventure, creativity and respect for the planet. Just like our collection, it’s free-spirited and sustainable, made from recycled materials and designed for everyone, everywhere.
How will you support retailers to sell this category?

Our SS26 marketing story is deeply connected to our brand values.
