How have your sales been in 2025 so far?
We are thoroughly happy with this year. We have been able to develop further and are filling the niche for wooden glasses and sustainable sunglasses in line with our expectations. We hope this continues, and we are working hard to make sure it does.

What are the key trends in sunglasses for board sports for Spring/Summer 2026?
We rely on a combination of robust polycarbonate frames with stylish wooden arms in various designs, both in terms of frame shapes and wood types. Transparent tortoise frames come back.

Which segment of your 2025 offering is selling best and why?
We distinguish between the material combinations wood-metal, wood-polycarbonate and wood-wood. We were unable to identify any truly outstanding combination. All three sold in roughly equal numbers.

What frame shapes and colours will you offer in your SS26 collection?
Our new models are available with square and sport frames, for example. Transparent tortoiseshell frames are back in fashion, as are two-tone frame colours.

What materials are you using in your SS26 collection?
The new models come with polycarbonate frames and arms made from darker woods such as walnut and laminated maplewood.

What lens technologies will you offer in your SS26 collection?
We continue to rely on robust polycarbonate lenses, which are always polarised. The coloured mirrored lenses have anti-ocean protection, so salt water in the air is not a problem.

Which lens colours and tints will you be offering in SS26?
We offer the complete colour palette in our collection. However, for the new models, we are focusing on grey and green shades.

Any new sustainable practices in your production and shipping processes?
Our woods are carefully selected in accordance with environmentally friendly forestry practices and comply with FSC standards. All our packages are shipped in an environmentally friendly way – both in terms of the outer packaging and the shipping method used by the parcel services.

What are your SS26 marketing stories?
We can sum it up succinctly: protect nature. Shop sustainably – in terms of material and quality. And enjoy your new purchase. Our goal is to put a smile on people’s faces.

How will you support retailers to sell this category?
We offer space-saving wooden glasses stands in different sizes and ensure that retailers enjoy selling our products with a decent margin. In addition, retailers not only enjoy fast and reliable processing, but also friendly after-sales service. The few complaints that we receive are always handled in the customer’s interest. We have no MOQ, so it´s an easy and uncomplicated opportunity to start with us.

X-UP is our tiger in the eyewear family. But don´t worry, it´s tamer than it appears. The view through the sunglasses comes with a brown tint and polarised lenses for a clear view.
