What are the main marketing stories and themes in your women’s streetwear line for SS22?
For Spring 2022, we look to our pillars of Americana and are inspired by Military and Workwear/ Utility, juxtaposed with the joyful retro times of the ’70s. We are taking these two classic themes and mixing them together to create a feeling of nostalgia with a modern lens through fits and fabrication. We look to classic utility silhouettes and details and infuse retro-inspired colour, print and pattern. This unexpected clash brightens up the world of surplus and evokes a feeling of happiness and casual days. Our spring flannels continue to expand into new plaids and corduroy. We introduce new hickory stripes, classic gingham, and, of course, plaids, plaids, and some more plaids. We focus on pieces that can take you from out and about to the comfort of your home. Transitional dressing in terms of weather and wear. Mixed fabrics and colour blocking are important to bring newness to our franchise silhouettes. Fabrications evolve into spring with lightweight corduroy, textured sweater knits, rayon crepe, rib knits, slub jersey, vegan leather, and high sheen nylons. Seasonal colours are washed back primaries, fun colour pops along with traditional neutral surplus colours.
