Retail Buyers Guide:  Snow Goggles F/W 2026/27 Retail Buyer’s Guide
Brand:  MowMow
Interviewee: Maurits van Zalinge — Founder & Brand Owner

Which goggles sold best in the winter 2024/2025 and why?
Top performers were Icon, Vantage, and Stealth. Icon stood out with X-celLens magnetic lenses, Turbo Lock, and a spare bad-weather lens — quick swaps and crash-proof security made it a hit. Vantage’s spherical photochromic LuxaLens adapted to every condition, and Stealth’s cylindrical photochromic LuxaLens appealed to park and freestyle riders who want minimal, low-profile performance without compromising clarity.

Which of your 2025/2026 goggles do you expect to perform best at retail and why?
Icon remains the flagship — magnetic lens swaps, Turbo Lock crash security, and a spare bad-weather lens make it a mountain-tested winner. Vantage stays strong for all-condition riders with its spherical photochromic LuxaLens, while Stealth continues to attract freestyle riders with low-profile style and adaptive light management.

Are there any observable trends in snowboarding and skiing that impact product demand and development?
Riders want instant adaptability, versatility across terrain, and gear that survives the mountain. Park and freestyle riders prefer low-profile frames like Stealth; freeriders prioritize spherical or toric optics for depth and precision. Sustainability is increasingly important, influencing materials and production decisions as much as lens and frame tech.

What are the highlights in frame construction and materials of your 2026/27 collection?
Bio-resin frames for durability, multi-density face foam for perfect fit and seal, and recycled straps for longevity. Semi-frameless styling reduces weight and increases field-of-view. Every goggle is tested in real mountain conditions — engineered for comfort, performance, and durability.

What are the highlights in lens technology in your 2026/27 goggle collection?
X-celLens goggles (Icon and others) feature magnetic interchangeable lenses, a spare bad-weather lens, and Turbo Lock system — your lens stays put even in crashes. Vantage (spherical) and Stealth (cylindrical) have photochromic LuxaLens, adapting automatically to changing light. Each lens geometry is tuned to its riding style: toric for precision, spherical for depth, cylindrical for park/freestyle style.

What colours, prints or patterns are you featuring in your 2026/27 collection?
Matte black and graphite frames with mirrored lenses in Ice Blue, Deep Gold, and Copper Rose. Limited strap editions add subtle prints or textures — mountain-ready style that pops without overpowering performance.

Which goggles from your 2026/2027 collection do you expect the most growth from and why?
Icon will continue to lead thanks to X-celLens magnetic lens swaps, Turbo Lock, and spare bad-weather lens — riders and retailers love the innovation and versatility. Vantage and Stealth will grow steadily with photochromic lenses that handle all conditions and low-profile designs for park/freestyle riders.

How are you implementing sustainability in your products and production processes?
We use bio-resins, recycled straps, and eco-conscious packaging. Lenses are replaceable and frames are built to last. Supplier selection prioritizes low environmental impact. Sustainability is embedded in design and mountain-tested performance.

How are you helping retailers to sell this category?
We provide lens demo kits, high-res imagery, guides, and clear POS materials. Staff can show magnetic lens swaps, Turbo Lock, and the difference between photochromic vs X-celLens dual-lens tech with confidence. Seasonal promotions and spare lenses keep inventory moving and make this category irresistible.
