Which goggles sold best in the winter 2024/2025 and why?
This winter 2024/2025, our Sentry franchise has performed particularly well. Thanks to a complete offering (PRIME, PRO, PRO S, and PRO OTG), the range has succeeded in attracting new consumers more core in the freeskiing and snowboarding segments. Sentry is becoming a strategic pillar for us, strengthening our credibility in the performance segment while expanding our consumer base.

Which of your 2025/2026 goggles do you expect to perform best at retail and why?
S/View continues to be our best seller thanks to its sleek and minimalist design, all-day comfort, and expansive field of view. This winter S/VIEW has been revamped with a modern design. Its unisex fit makes it the ideal choice for a wide range of skiers and snowboarders.

Are there any observable trends in the practice of snowboarding that impact product demand and development?
Several trends are currently influencing product demand and development in snowboarding. Riders are increasingly attentive to the environmental footprint of their equipment, encouraging brands to adopt more sustainable practices. At the same time, demand is shifting toward greater versatility and ease of use, with products designed to adapt to different riding styles and conditions. This is reflected in the emergence of innovative features, such as magnetic lens change systems on goggles, offering a more intuitive and user-friendly experience.

What are the highlights in frame construction and materials of your 2026/27 collection?
Our goggles frames are made from polyurethane (PU), a material that perfectly balances durability, flexibility, and optimal comfort. We remain committed to sustainability by using straps made from 60% recycled yarn, while maintaining the same high standards of design and aesthetics.

What are the highlights in lens technology in your 2026/27 goggle collection?
This season, we continue to put a strong focus on our patented Sigma™ lens technology, a true game-changer on snow. By significantly enhancing color contrast and boosting visual definition, Sigma™ ensures skiers and snowboarders can read the terrain with unmatched clarity in all conditions. We complete the actual range with 2 new color lenses : SIGMA Copper cat 2 and SIGMA Fire red cat 3. Complementing this, our magnetic lens offer includes two high-end models, Radium Prime and Sentry Prime, both designed for quick and intuitive lens changes.

What colours, prints or patterns are you featuring in your 2026/27 collection?
For the 2026/27 season, we offer products for all tastes, from more classic models to bolder, more dynamic and expressive designs. This year, we are continuing to develop our color ranges, with Iceberg Green, Ice Flow, Ultra Violet, and Blue Granite, providing a wide choice so that everyone can find their style and satisfy the different needs of consumers. In addition, to ensure consistency across our entire product range, we have created straps inspired by our main skiing and snowboarding stories, Horizon for snowboarding, QST for freeskiing, and Addikt for all-mountain skiing. We are also collaborating with the Salomon Freeski team to create a capsule collection, combining the expertise of professional athletes with the expectations of the general public, thereby reinforcing the functional and stylish aspect of our products.

Which goggles from your 2026/2027 collection do you expect the most growth from and why?
For 2026/2027, we hope to continue the growth with the S/View 3. Already recognized as a best-seller, this model appeals with its modernized design, excellent fit, and unisex style. The S/View 3 has established itself as the must-have goggle for all all-mountain skiers and snowboarders, season after season. Moreover, the Sentry franchise has shown strong and steady growth since its launch in 23/24. Its authenticity and inclusivity (with the range expanding to include OTG models) has enabled the franchise to establish itself as a key growth driver within our ski goggle portfolio, and we expect this to continue.

How are you implementing sustainability in your products and production processes?
Since the FW21 season, all our packaging, manuals, and labels have been made from FSC-certified paper, and we have eliminated all plastic bags as part of our “zero plastic” goal. Our commitment also involves reducing our environmental footprint while maintaining the quality and durability of our products. From FW25, all our new straps will be made at least from 60% recycled materials.

How are you helping retailers to sell this category?
We provide our sales force and retailers with dedicated training books and catalogs gathering detailed insights on products and technologies. To support in-store visibility, a full range of PoP materials is available, highlighting Salomon’s key products and showcasing our innovations (Sigma lens selector, Custom ID Fit demo tool, etc.). Additionally, exclusive protective content has been developed to help retailers create a true Salomon universe in their shops, through engaging visuals and videos.
