Retail Buyers Guide:  Snow Goggles F/W 2026/27 Retail Buyer’s Guide
Brand:  Zeal Optics
Interviewee: Marketing Team

Which of your 2025/2026 goggles do you expect to perform best at retail and why?
We expect the Meridian to perform best at retail thanks to its blend of style, performance, and versatility. Featuring Zeal’s Rail Lock System (RLS) for quick, secure lens changes and Observation Deck Technology (ODT) for an expanded field of view, the Meridian delivers all-day comfort, clarity, and confidence — making it a favorite among both skiers and snowboarders. Are there any observable trends in the practice of snowboarding that impact product demand and development?

What are the highlights in frame construction and materials of your 2026/27 collection?
Our Rail Lock and Slide Lock systems remain at the forefront, offering seamless, secure lens interchange. All frames feature triple-layer face foam, upper/lower venting, and no-slip grip straps for comfort and stability. The collection continues Zeal’s commitment to sustainability with frames built from 100% recycled TPU and PC/ABS materials.

What are the highlights in lens technology in your 2026/27 goggle collection?
Our Optimum lens platform anchors the collection, with three tiers—Optimum, Optimum Polarized, and Optimum Polarized Automatic+—each building on color, contrast, and clarity. Proprietary technologies include Everclear Anti-Fog, Optimum Color Filtration, Permashield Hardcoat, and photochromic Automatic+ lenses that adapt to changing light for a consistent visual experience.

What colours, prints or patterns are you featuring in your 2026/27 collection?
The 26/27 palette draws inspiration from alpine landscapes, featuring deep tones like Dark Night, Norway Spruce, and Dire Wolf, balanced with lighter hues such as Sage, Hana, and Lavender. Each is paired with complementary strap patterns and mirrored lens options—creating a clean, modern aesthetic across the line.

Which goggles from your 2026/2027 collection do you expect the most growth from and why?
The Stormveil is poised for the strongest growth thanks to its innovative Slide Lock System and medium fit that appeals to a wide range of users. As our first major new frame since the Meridian, it embodies Zeal’s next step in design evolution and delivers high perceived value with dual lenses included.

How are you implementing sustainability in your products and production processes?
Sustainability is core to Zeal. All goggle frames are made from 100% recycled TPU and PC/ABS, and straps and bags use a minimum of 70% recycled PET. Packaging is entirely recyclable and FSC-certified, with molded pulp inserts instead of foam. We also partner with organizations like Tree Nation, Planet Ark, and the National Forest Foundation to offset our impact.

How are you helping retailers to sell this category?
We provide premium in-store displays, from LED-lit slatwall systems to four-tier glorifiers, designed to showcase Zeal’s craftsmanship and lens tech. Our team supports sell-through with training, branded POP materials, and digital assets to educate consumers on lens technologies and sustainability stories that set Zeal apart.
