Which goggles sold best in the winter 2024/2025 and why?
VALLON Freebirds™ – As our flagship goggles, the Freebirds™ have a minimal design inspired by classic goggles of decades past. This product appeals to those who are looking for a classic aesthetic, paired with 21st century performance materials including industry-leading ZEISS lenses, a durable frame, and unique strap design.

Which of your 2025/2026 goggles do you expect to perform best at retail and why?
Freebirds™ will continue to lead in retail because the combination of their classic design, unique colorways and technical materials offer something different to consumers who are currently seeing a homogeny of goggle design. VALLON offers consumers a new generation of sports eyewear with a whole lotta soul! (As well as our forthcoming release – Stay tuned!)

Are there any observable trends in the practice of snowboarding that impact product demand and development?
We are noticing a skew towards versatility as weather and climate shifts mean that snowboarders are having to experience the mountains with less predictability. Consumers want gear that is versatile enough to be used in all-mountain, backcountry, and on-piste, but is still highly technical. Consumers also want value for money, favoring products from companies that align with their personal ethos and performance expectations. Gear is no longer just functional, it’s a form of self-expression, which is why we keep a strong focus on brand identity: What does it mean to do things #theVALLONway?

What are the highlights in frame construction and materials of your 2026/27 collection?
Freebirds™ and Stairways™ are both inspired by classic goggle designs from decades past, paired with 21st century performance materials and construction. Stairways™ have an 80s-inspired shape with modern helmet compatibility: The frame is made of durable, heat-resistant TPU in a matt finish, paired with a timeless VALLON-striped 45mm silicone-backed nylon strap for no-slip grip. What are the highlights in lens technology in your 2026/27 goggle collection?
Shared highlights:

Dual-layered lens technology: Outer lens from Carl ZEISS for optical clarity and shatter resistance. Inner anti-fog lens from Mazuchelli.
Core lens options have a blue-light blocking brown tint, paired with a mirror finish for classic style, optimal contrast, and all-day eye comfort. (e.g. All lenses excluding

Yellow, Orange and Smoke lenses which are available for additional purchase).

Each style has their own selection of interchangeable options, offering a wide range of UV protection, from 76% VLT (Cat. 1) for low-light days, to 13% VLT (Cat. 3) for bright sunshine.
Stairways™: ZEISS dual-layered lens technology with a cylindrical lens construction and Cat 1. – Cat. 2 (20-76% VLT) interchangeable lenses provide excellent clarity of vision for a range of weather conditions.
Freebirds™: ZEISS dual-layered lens technology in a spherical construction for maximised peripheral vision and excellent clarity. Cat. 1 – Cat. 3 (13% – 73% VLT) interchangeable lenses deliver optimal lens tint and VLT for a wide range of weather conditions.

What colours, prints or patterns are you featuring in your 2026/27 collection?
All our goggles feature a distinctive VALLON stripe: We celebrate a broad range of classic colors popularised from the 60s onward, from timeless ‘Off-White’ through to bold Red, Neon Pink, and Teal. Our most distinctive colorway is the Freebirds™ Off-White-Silver which features a full Silver mirror lens, and a strap with a tricolor stripe of Off-White, Red and Blue.

Which goggles from your 2026/2027 collection do you expect the most growth from and why?
Freebirds™ for the same reasons as mentioned above + the forthcoming model release, which will be our most technical goggles yet.

How are you implementing sustainability in your products and production processes?
Our product development cycle follows a progressive iteration model, allowing for continuous product evolution while optimizing sell-through of previous season inventory and eliminating inter-seasonal stock waste. All our eyewear is delivered in plastic-free packaging. Furthermore we offset our plastic consumption by working with a global plastic cleanup charity so that for every pair of VALLONs sold, 1kg of plastic waste is cleaned up and recycled from our ocean shores.

How are you helping retailers to sell this category?
To support retailers we focus on media marketing/advertising, and driving traffic to our partners through the VALLON store locator. For in-store support, we provide branded goggle displays, and structured retail training and incentives for staff.
