What are the main trends in the helmet market for snowboarding in FW21/22 and how do you address them with your products?
The main trend within the helmet market we are seeing is an increased awareness of safety, the need to adapt to varying conditions & temperatures and goggle to helmet compatibility. Goggle designs are ever changing but a seamless alignment to their helmet is critical in terms of performance and comfort.

Anon’s helmet line is evolving to maximize the overall comfort of our helmets with a continued focus on safety by increasing the number of designs that feature MIPS to reduce the rotational forces experienced during an impact.

What were your biggest sellers In FW20/21?
In the helmet category, we consistently see people gravitating to the Prime MIPS/Nova MIPS helmets if they are more interested in technical, high ventilation helmets. If someone is looking for more classic, low-profile styling they go with the Raider 3 /Greta 3.

Do you have any innovations in terms of design or materials for FW21/22?
For this season, we really expanded the number of models that feature the MIPS protection system. We’ve added this to our all key models as well as introduce this safety feature to the youth helmet collection.

Are your products targeted to specific customers / rider types?
We offer a wide selection of styles and colors to fit individual needs but also classify our helmets as All Mountain, which include more ventilation options in terms of quantity and the number of adjustable vents. The other classification within our line is the Freestyle class, these feature passive ventilation with more classic, skate style exterior designs.

What is the general consumer’s attitude towards wearing snow helmets? Has this changed in recent years?
The attitude continues to be positive, both through adoption rates, consumer comfort levels towards helmets and knowledge of key features that exist to differentiate models. Consumers now have more options that ever to find a good looking, low-profile helmet that fits their style and has the features that are important to them.
